NEW YORK NEW JERSEY STADIUM — Following yesterday’s Norway vs. Brazil match at New York New Jersey Stadium, FIFA World Cup 2026™ New York New Jersey Host Committee CEO Alex Lasry released the following statement:

“Yesterday’s Norway vs. Brazil match marked another successful milestone for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ at New York New Jersey Stadium. Seven matches into the tournament, our operations continue to improve with each event. Through close coordination across our partners, the Host Committee operated its shuttle service at its highest capacity yet, with 97% of fans entering the stadium before kickoff, and all fans departing in under two and a half hours following the match. With just one match remaining, we are ready to deliver the biggest sporting event in the world and welcome fans from across the globe back to New York New Jersey Stadium for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final.”
