Formed through a dynamic partnership of civic leaders, public agencies, sports organizations, and community voices from both states, our mission is to welcome the world to NYNJ — celebrating the global game while creating a lasting legacy of inclusion, innovation, and impact.

Mission
To showcase the unmatched energy, diversity, and hospitality of the NYNJ region on the world stage, deliver a world-class experience for athletes, fans, and partners, and ensure that the FIFA World Cup 2026™ serves as a catalyst for community development, sustainability, and global connection — to show the world that NYNJ is the premiere region for travel, tourism, and sports & entertainment.
Founded on These Four Pillars:
Transportation | Security | Fan Engagement | Economic Development
Our Team
Our work is led by a dedicated group of visionaries from across sectors — public service, business, sports, culture, and civic life — who are committed to making this tournament a success for every resident and visitor.
Each member brings deep experience and passion to this once-in-a-generation opportunity to unite the world through sport.

People & Planet
We’re committed to making FIFA World Cup 2026™ more than just a sporting event — it’s a
platform for positive social and environmental change.
Together, we’re building a tournament that reflects the values of NYNJ — and sets a new
global benchmark for legacy and responsibility.

From regional green transportation to creative eco-friendly FIFA Fan Festival™ NYNJ design, our planning integrates climate-conscious strategies every step of the way. Our goal is to minimize environmental impact while maximizing public benefit.

FIFA World Cup 26™ NYNJ Poster
The official FIFA World Cup 2026™ NYNJ poster, designed by award-winning artist, Rich Tu, a New Jersey native now based in Brooklyn if here. The poster celebrates the tournament and kicked off a regional beautification effort blending art, culture, and the global spirit of the FIFA World Cup™.
If your community would like to become involved in our regional beautification efforts via murals and/or other legacy efforts, we’d love to hear from you.
The reveal spanned two states, starting with an intimate debut at Poster House in NYC, where it joins the museum’s permanent collection, followed by a jumbotron display in Times Square and a stadium showcase at MetLife Stadium, host of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ and FIFA World Cup 2026™ finals. The first public wheat-pasting of the poster went live at 352 Marin Blvd. in Jersey City — home to NJ’s largest Filipino population, especially meaningful for Rich, a first-gen Filipino American.
NYNJ Sonic ID
The NYNJ Sonic ID is produced by Take A Daytrip – Denzel Baptiste (NJ native) & David Biral (NYC native) – the duo behind hits like “Mo Bamba” (Sheck Wes), “Panini” & “Montero” (Lil Nas X) and “Industry Baby” (Lil Nas X feat. Jack Harlow). Their high-energy sound embodies the bold, electrifying spirit of our region & FIFA World Cup 2026™, making this sonic experience unforgettable.
The NYNJ Sonic ID has been played across airports, transit hubs, sporting events, shopping districts, and digital platforms. Thank you to our partners who helped amplify the sound (pun intended).
