NYNJ HOST COMMITTEE REACHES 20 HOST CITY SUPPORTERS, MOST OF ANY HOST CITY IN THE TOURNAMENT
NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY — FIFA World Cup 2026™ New York New Jersey Host Committee CEO Alex Lasry today announced that the NYNJ Host Committee has secured 20 Host City Supporter positions, establishing the largest Host City Supporter program across the tournament.
The Host City Supporter program has helped power matchday operations, transportation initiatives, community programming, and the most extensive free fan engagement footprint of any Host City. Through these agreements, the Host Committee has expanded opportunities for residents and visitors to participate in World Cup-related events and experiences throughout the region while ensuring the benefits of the tournament extend far beyond New York New Jersey Stadium.

The New York New Jersey region is hosting eight FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches, including the Final on July 19, 2026.
