FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 NYNJ HOST COMMITTEE, NYC TOURISM + CONVENTIONS, AND THE CITY OF NEW YORK LAUNCH NYNJ WORLD CUP CONCIERGE AS THE CITY’S PRIMARY DIGITAL GUIDE FOR THE SUMMER
The platform gives every fan, visitor, New Yorker and New Jerseyan a trusted, personalized guide to World Cup programming across the five boroughs
NEW YORK, NY — The FIFA World Cup 2026 NYNJ Host Committee, NYC Tourism + Conventions, and the City of New York today launched the NYNJ World Cup Concierge, powered by Neurun, as the region’s primary digital resource for World Cup programming, events, and experiences this summer.
Embedded on the Host Committee’s official website, nynjfwc26.com and nyctourism.com, the platform connects fans, visitors, and residents to free and affordable World Cup programming across all five boroughs, from neighborhood fan zones and cultural destinations to citywide promotions and events. The NYNJ World Cup Concierge was officially introduced today at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new interactive kiosk inside Grand Central Terminal, where visitors can access the digital platform in person. The kiosk will remain open through July 19.
With more than one million visitors expected across the region during FIFA World Cup 2026™, the NYNJ World Cup Concierge serves as a trusted, multilingual guide to help fans navigate everything the region has to offer throughout the tournament. Powered by AI and built exclusively from official city and event partner information, the platform provides personalized recommendations, answers questions in real time, and connects users to verified information on events, attractions, transportation, dining, cultural experiences, and World Cup programming across the five boroughs. Accessible from any device, the NYNJ World Cup Concierge helps visitors and residents alike discover the region and make the most of their World Cup experience.
“The World Cup will not be felt only inside a stadium. It will be felt on subway platforms, on sidewalks, in parks, and on neighborhood commercial corridors across all five boroughs,” said Maya Handa, World Cup Czar for the City of New York. “The Concierge makes sure every person in this city, and every visitor arriving from around the world, can find what has been built for them, in their language, on their phone, with information they can trust.”
“New York City’s diversity is our greatest strength, and the FIFA World Cup presents an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate the people, neighborhoods, and attractions that make the five boroughs unlike anywhere else in the world,” said Julie Coker, President and CEO of NYC Tourism + Conventions. “The Concierge provides a trusted navigational tool, where visitors and residents can discover free and affordable activities and ways to support local businesses in communities across all five boroughs.”
“The World Cup is an opportunity to bring real economic impact directly into neighborhoods across the region,” said Alex Lasry, CEO of the FIFA World Cup 2026 NYNJ Host Committee. “The Concierge gives every fan a direct line to the programs we have built to make this tournament accessible and community driven. Every time someone discovers a new neighborhood or walks into a local business because of what they found here, the World Cup is delivering on its promise.”
“Information gaps are where great events lose people,” said Cade Netscher, Founder and CEO of Neurun. “A fan arriving from Rio, Dakar, or London should be able to ask one question and get a trusted answer about what is free, what is nearby, and how to get there. Every source behind this platform is official. Every piece of content, verified.”
The platform is powered by Neurun, the company building spatially aware digital brains for events and the cities that host them. The NYNJ World Cup Concierge was built with the strategic and structural support of Google, with Google’s 3D Maps, local Search and AI capabilities enabling fans to explore the region’s neighborhoods in an entirely new way, surfacing hyperlocal, timely content and putting the independent businesses and community organizations that define each borough directly in front of the people looking for them.
The NYNJ World Cup Concierge covers:
- The NYC Neighborhood Passport, encouraging residents and visitors to explore immigrant neighborhoods, cultural institutions, and small businesses across all five boroughs while collecting artist-designed stamps at participating venues
- The Welcome World Rewards Program, with points earned by visiting participating businesses and attending community events, redeemable for match tickets, VIP experiences, memorabilia, and more
- Official NYNJ Fan Events across all five boroughs, with daily programming from June 11 through the Final on July 19
- The Five Borough Winners Special at hundreds of participating restaurants, bars, and food establishments
- Match schedules, transit plans, official shuttle routes, neighborhood guides, and accessibility resources across the region
The NYNJ World Cup Concierge is live now at nynjfwc26.com and nyctourism.com.
